Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to broaden the students' knowledge in the field of psychological aspects of communication and to build on the knowledge in terms of social communication. Furthermore, the subject will focus on media and mass communication with their possibilities and problems. These will be linked to the issue of media literacy. At the end of the course we will focus on trends in society. The seminar will be divided between concepts interfering with proper communication, security issues and violence in the media, and the practical principles of media literacy.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- name the issues of social communication and media;
- demonstrate skills related to media literacy;
