Course objectives
Students extend their knowledge achieved in the course of Italian History and Culture. The seminar tries to offer students a complex image of Italy from a geographic, social and cultural point of view. The course contents can be partially changed according to the students` interests. The students prepare papers on various topics related to the contemporary Italian life. These presentations form the base for a further discussion.
Syllabus
1. Introduzione al corso. Metodologia per la preparazione della relazione.
2. I poteri dello stato: il potere legislativo e l`organizzazione delle camere parlamentari.
3. I poteri dello stato: il potere esecutivo del governo.
4. I poteri dello stato: il potere giudiziario della magistratura.
5. La divisione amministrativa: le competenze della regione e della provincia.
6. La divisione amministrativa: le competenze del comune.
7. Il potere d`interferenza dell`UE nella politica e nell`amministrazione italiana.
8. Le commissioni parlamentari principali.
9. La situazione politica attuale. La coalizione di maggioranza e quella d?opposizione.
10. L`economia italiana. I settori trainanti e la loro localizzazione.
11. Riassunto delle nozioni principali e chiarimenti.
12. -13. Esercitazione in classe.
