Course objectives
Students gain basic knowledge of fundamental culturological terms and contemporary cultural phenomena
Syllabus
  • Lectures and seminars will be based on parallel and transverse social sciences and humanities (cultural and social anthropology, social psychology, sociology, philosophy, art). Culturological basic terminology will be explained and applied in coherent thematic courses. The structure of lectures and seminars will be based on the individual's personal experiences and opinions of students. Their goal is to motivate students to a deeper active interest in the outlined problems and delivering personal attitudes and opinions. Lectures are presented by animation methods (film and lantern slide projection, shows, exhibitions, openings, etc.) which encourage the dialogue to seek a broader context and in the context of the experience of reality.
