Course objectives
Objectives: The subject introduces the student to professional terminology in the field of communication and communication strategies. The aim is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of communication strategies used in inclusive education. The aim of the subject is also to learn about the communication process focused on individuals with disabilities in the sense of supporting their communication skills.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Professional knowledge: - the student gains insight into the issues of communication and communication strategies - the student is oriented in communication strategies - the student gains knowledge about the differences in communication strategies for intact students and students with special educational needs - the student gains an overview of the application of communication strategy tools - the student is oriented in the issues of social intelligence Professional skills: - the student is oriented and gains an overview of the basic functions of communication and communication strategies - the student applies basic knowledge, principles and differences in communication strategies for students with special educational needs in pedagogical practical activities - the student uses the acquired knowledge to determine basic intervention procedures in communication with a student with special educational needs in inclusive education General competencies: - the student applies knowledge, specific features of communication development in students with special educational needs in inclusive education - the student chooses appropriate modifications of communication strategies strategies for students in inclusive education - the student will demonstrate knowledge in the field of social intelligence, social competencies, social skills for individuals with special educational needs - the student will gain an overview of methods for developing communication skills in students in inclusive education
