The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course teaches students basic Latin grammar and specialized medical terminology in extent which is prerequisite for the study of other specialized subjects.
Syllabus
  • 1. Adjective comparison - exceptions, irregular and incomplete comparison.
    2. Adverbs.
    3. Numerals - their use in Latin terminology.
    4. Latin and Greek prefixes.
    5. Latin and Greek suffixes.
    6. Diagnosis, prescription, abbreviations.
    7. Overall revision.
