Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem předmětu je naučit studenty teoretickým základům a praktickým dovednostem potřebným pro práci s firemními dokumenty a daty. Studenti se naučí efektivitě při práci s PC, v počítačové síti, textovými editory a softwary pro tvorbu prezentací. Vedle teoretického základu je kladen důraz na praktické dovednosti, kdy v rámci seminářů studenti provádějí praktické příklady pomocí příslušného software.

  • 1. Informatika v podniku
    Stručná historie vývoje informatiky. Základní principy tvorby, výměny a uchování informací pomocí výpočetní techniky. Informační a komunikační technologie (ICT) a jejich využívání v podniku. Hardware. Architektura počítačů. Software. Systémové a aplikační softwarové vybavení.
    2. Operační systémy
    Operační systém Windows. Architektura OS Windows. Průzkumník. Správa souborů. Ovládací panely. Uživatelské a systémové nastavení.
    3. Práce v počítačové síti
    Počítačové sítě. Internet. Ochrana počítače v počítačové síti. Bezpečnostní hlediska při používání Internetu. Elektronická pošta. Sociální média. Antivirové programy. Cloud computing.
    4. Textové editory
    Textový editor MS Office Word a LibreOffice Writer. Možnosti využití. Tvorba a editace dlouhých dokumentů. Automatizace práce s dokumentem. Záznam makra.
    5. Firemní prezentace
    Zásady tvorby prezentací. Struktura prezentace. Tvorba prezentací v MS Office PowerPoint a LibreOffice Impress.
    6. Vývojové trendy v oblasti podnikové informatiky

  • 1. A brief history of computer science. The basic principles of creating, storing and exchanging information using computer technology. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and their usage in company.
    2. Software. System and application software equipment. Hardware. Computer architecture.
    3. Internet. Security considerations when using the Internet. Electronic mail. social media. Cloud Computing.
    4. Operating system Windows. Windows Explorer. Files management. Control panels. User and system settings.
    5. Protecting computers in a computer network. Precautions working with computers. Anti-virus software.
    6. Introduction to office applications. Commercial and open source products. Text editors.
    7. Text document. MS Office Word text, paragraphs, styles, numbering, sections, editing and proofreading tools. Print output settings.
    8. MS Office Word tables, calculations, graphic objects (images, charts), references, tracking changes, merging documents, mailings. Communication between applications.
    9. MS Office Word automation works with document. Macro recording and editing.
    10. Basics of creating presentations using MS PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress.

    2. Software. System and application software equipment. Hardware. Computer architecture.
    3. Internet. Security considerations when using the Internet. Electronic mail. social media. Cloud Computing.
    4. Operating system Windows. Windows Explorer. Files management. Control panels. User and system settings.
    5. Protecting computers in a computer network. Precautions working with computers. Anti-virus software.
    6. Introduction to office applications. Commercial and open source products. Text editors.
    7. Text document. MS Office Word text, paragraphs, styles, numbering, sections, editing and proofreading tools. Print output settings.

  • 1. A brief history of computer science. The basic principles of creating, storing and exchanging information using computer technology. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and their usage in company.
    2. Software. System and application software equipment. Hardware. Computer architecture.
    3. Internet. Security considerations when using the Internet. Electronic mail. social media. Cloud Computing.
    4. Operating system Windows. Windows Explorer. Files management. Control panels. User and system settings.
    5. Protecting computers in a computer network. Precautions working with computers. Anti-virus software.
    6. Introduction to office applications. Commercial and open source products. Text editors.
    7. Text document. MS Office Word text, paragraphs, styles, numbering, sections, editing and proofreading tools. Print output settings.
    8. MS Office Word tables, calculations, graphic objects (images, charts), references, tracking changes, merging documents, mailings. Communication between applications.
