Course objectives
The aim of the course is to streamline foreign language education of students in the field of European economic policy and strengthen their competitiveness in the EU economic components. Based on the work of genre miscellaneous texts and optimally selected model exercises the purpose of the course is to deepen the lexical, textual and wider contextual, but also more complex grammatical structures, with the special emphasis on the development of oral speech communication. The content of the course is the cross-section of the EU activities: the fiscal and monetary activities, business and business to consumer activities, legal, social and other policies. The course is modeled on the basis of the curriculum of the field of study European Integration, as well as in accordance with the needs arising from the position of the Czech Republic in the EU.
