- Course objectives
- The goal of this course is to familiarize students with basic terms of the regional economy and policy, factors of localisation and positioning and expressions of territorial spatial aspects in economics. Attention will be focused to setting goals and strategies of regional policy and identification tools used to ensure the goals. Part of this course is also devoted to interpretation of the regional economic strategy in Czech Republic, including prioritizing solutions in key sectors of today´s economics and ties of regional policy of the Czech Republic to the EU regional policy.
