Course objectives
Course "Public Finance" introduces the issue of public finance, in particular the essential characteristics of financial relationships involving state, as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of the budget and fiscal policy of the government. Attention is primarily focused on understanding the macro-, micro-and non-economic consequences of state activities funded from public budgets. Finally, attention is paid to current trends and issues of public finance - especially the causes and consequences of public debt.
