Course objectives
The objective of the subject is to set up the goals of a thesis and to choose the appropriate sources of information. The principles of quotation ethics, the realization and the evaluation of empirical research are introduced. Students will be able to apply acquired competence for writing a professional text and to formulate conclusions and recommendations from accomplished research. The assignment and a seminar realization including consultations are performed by a particular supervisor SU OPF. The selection of a thesis is due to 31.5. of a summer semester of 1st grade of MA studies and data for an assignment of a thesis are due to 30.10. in a winter semester of 2st grade of MA studies. The departments are in charge of it. Thesis composition: Introduction 1. Theoretical part 2. Practical part 3. Comparison between discovered facts and theoretical findings Conclusion
Syllabus
  • The aim of the seminar is to introduce the form of an assignment of a thesis and the technology of preparation of a thesis in connection with collecting and studies of literature. An actual thesis assignment and seminars including consultations to a particular thesis are performed by a relevant department OPF.
    The selection of a thesis is due to 31 January of a winter semester of 1st grade of MA studies and data for an assignment of a thesis are due to 30 March in a summer semester of 1st grade of MA studies. The departments are in charge of it.
