Poskytnout hlubší pohled na exaktní metody modelování ekonomických situací. Zvládnout teoretický aparát vybraných metod a modelů, zejména optimalizačních metod matematického programování a jeho aplikaci v ekonomických disciplínách a naučit se používat známých programů k řešení úloh na PC. Struktura výkladu: 1. Matematické modelování v ekonomii 2. Matematické programování a jeho aplikace v ekonomických disciplínách 3. Vícekriteriální optimalizace 4. Modely analýzy obalu dat 5. Modely optimalizace portfolia 6. Software k řešení optimalizačních úloh na PC
