Course objectives
Course objectives: Subject payment and settlements introduces students to the issue of security of implementation of domestic and foreign payments by payment, payment security and hedging instruments. It tells graduates of the course with the division and the basic functions of the payment instruments from classical forms of written payment to the modern electronic means of remote access to account. The focus is placed on the organization of interbank payment system in the Czech Republic and in the European Union.. A significant part of the course focuses on the legal base payments in the Czech Republic and its compliance with European Union law.
