Studies
- Objectives
The aim of studying in the Computer Science program is to prepare graduates for careers in professions requiring academic training in the field of Computer Science - in managerial and highly qualified positions in specialized international companies and institutions engaged in programming or other development work, analysis, design and deployment of information, database and other computer systems, including cyber security, or in public administration. Teaching is conducted in English and graduates are expected to work in international work teams.
Graduates are also prepared for further study in a doctoral program belonging to the field of education Computer Science, either in Czech or English.
- Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- - use various programming methods practically, using available technologies to the maximum extent possible
- - independently design, monitor, and manage large-scale computer systems
- - use in-depth knowledge of computer networks and other computer systems to solve problems including security
- - communicate in English, with an emphasis on the use of industry-specific English
- - solve specific professional problems in the field of informatics based on a defined task
