Degree programme objectives
The aim of the study program Informatics is to prepare graduates for a career in professions requiring academic training in the field of Informatics - in specialized companies and institutions engaged in programming or other development work, analysis, design, and deployment of information, database, knowledge, and other computer systems, or in the public administration.
Graduates are also prepared for further study in a follow-up master's degree program belonging to the field of education Computer Science.

After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:
- - practically use various programming methods and languages, design and debug programs,
- - configure and manage common operating systems and information systems, design and manage databases
- - design, configure, and manage computer networks and troubleshoot common network problems, including security
- - communicate in English, with an emphasis on the use of industry-specific English
- - solve specific professional problems in the field of informatics based on a defined task
