Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduate is able to:

      • create mathematical models
      • search for and develop appropriate mathematical tools and procedures for their solution
      • use basic mathematical software and acquired programming skills
      • solve various types of optimization tasks from various areas (mainly applies to the specialization Mathematical Methods and Modelling)
      • theoretically and practically solve various types of decision-making and optimization tasks, using common and specialized software products (mainly applies to the specialization Mathematical Methods in Economics)
      • theoretically and practically solve various types of tasks focused on the analysis and evaluation of security risks, using common and specialized software products (mainly applies to the specialization Mathematical Methods in Risk Management)
  • Occupational Profiles of Graduates

Graduates of the Bachelor's degree program Mathematics, to the extent appropriate to the academic focus of this program, are equipped with knowledge of basic mathematical disciplines, principles of mathematical reasoning, logical and critical thinking, relationships and connections between individual branches of mathematics, programming and mathematical software.

Graduates are able to continue in follow-up master's degree in mathematical and related fields. Graduates are also able to apply themself in the field of computer science, data processing, programming and modeling, in banking, in the specialisation Mathematical Methods in Economics, or Mathematical Methods in Risk Management, as well as in the field of economics, business and marketing, or crisis management and protection of property, people and health.
