    After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:

    • utilise professional terminology in basic economic terms and contexts;
    • demonstrate familiarity with social work and social policy;
    • explain the fundamental differences in organisational management between the social and non-profit sectors;
    • effectively communicate with institutions providing social and health care;
    • manage relationships with colleagues, clients and customers;
    • describe and apply a comprehensive range of analytical methods in the field of management, marketing and business economics (business environment analysis, competitive analysis and efficiency calculations);
    • interpret the data obtained to make decisions within the organisation or for their own social business;
    • propose a strategy for a selected organisation based on previous analyses and the data obtained;
    • participate in crisis communication and the preparation of basic elements of crisis management;
    • communicate in one foreign language (English or German).
