Po 2. světové válce došlo k odsunu německého obyvatelstva z českého pohraničí, tedy i z Bruntálska a Krnovska. Následoval proces osídlování těchto teritorií. Autoři popisují jeho průběh v letech 1948-1960. Upozorňují na rozdíly mezi osídlováním průmyslových středisek a zemědělských oblastí, rozebírají skladbu osídlenců z hlediska sociálního i národnostního. Dokumentují i dobové problémy spjaté se sledovaným procesem.
In English
After the Second World War, the German population moved away from the Czech borderland, and from Bruntál and Krnov. The process of settlement of these territories followed. The authors describe its course in the years 1948-1960. They point out the differences between the settlement of industrial centers and agricultural areas and analyze the composition of the population in terms of both social and national. They document the period problems associated with the process.
