Zájem historiků marxistického údobí o reálie kutnohorského důlního revíru byl sice velký, avšak koncentroval se především na analýzu montánních poměrů jednotlivých žilných pásem. Problematika zpracování a hutnění rudy byla tudíž až druhořadá. Navzdory tomu, že činnost rudokupců přitahovala s ohledem na jejich de facto podnikatelské aktivity pozornost, zůstává jedinou statí o rudokupeckém cechu studie Jarmily Háskové. Ta však k jejímu sepsání využila zejména svých starších poznámek a literatury. Stranou přitom ponechala organizace hutních pracovníků, jež s rudokupci tvořily sdruženou korporaci. Její text proto mapuje dějiny cechu jen rámcově. Studie je proto zaměřena na doplnění dříve naskicovaných osudů pořádku až do jeho zániku.

During the Marxist Period, the interest of Historians in facts of Kutna Hora mining area was intense primarily concentrating on analysis of mining conditions at individual ore lodes. The issues of ore processing and smelting were of minor interest. Despite the fact that ore contractors dealings and their business activities attracted specialist attention, the only study concerning the guild of the ore contractors has long been Jarmila Hásková s study. She primarily used her older notes and literature and left aside the corporations of smelters and ore washers that formed joint corporations with the ore contractors. Thus, her study presents the guild history in general frame. The presented study tries to complement history of the both above-mentioned guilds until their end.
