Abstract
Přednáška analyzovala napoleonika - specifickou kategorii kulturního dědictví, která plní funkci mediátora historické paměti s jasným odkazem na rozporuplnou postavu Napoleona Bonaparta. Na příkladu konkrétních artefaktů prezentovala proměny obrazu Napoleona Bonaparta a jeho osobnostní mýtus, který dodnes překračuje hranice a oslovuje generace napříč kontinenty.
Abstract (in English)
The lecture analyzed Napoleonic memorabilia - a specific category of cultural heritage which is a mediator of historical memory with a clear reference to the contradictory figure of Napoleon Bonaparte. On the example of specific artefacts, this lecture presented the transformations of Napoleon Bonaparte's image and his personality myth, which today crosses borders and addresses generations across continents.
