Anotace

V originále

This article deals with the issue of brownfields occurrence within two regions in the South-Moravian and Pardubice region. There are two different regions with the geographical position in the Czech Republic and they are in different size. The big difference between these regions is the industrial sector that has created brownfields in recent years. The author of the article wants to focus on the problems of abandoned buildings and areas in these regions and to find out the differences between these regions within the given area. The article is divided into the theoretical part, where the author refers to the scientific experts who deal with brownfield issues. Other parts are methods and data, where a brownfield database was created in the South-Moravian and Pardubice Region. Part of the contribution is the solution of indicators that can influence the regeneration of brownfields in the given territories. From these indicators, the biggest problem is the ownership of abandoned buildings and complexes, which in a great way can control the further building activity of the given objects.
