Trendy cestovního ruchu významně ovlivňují požadavky zákazníků a to podněcuje vývoj nových forem cestovního ruchu. Článek se zabývá zkoumáním trendů v cestovním ruchu v Moravskoslezském kraji. Cílem je na základě zjištění percepce zákazníků určit vývoj trendů pro tvorbu nabídky stravovacích a ubytovacích zařízení, cestovních kanceláří a agentur. Vychází z pilotního průzkumu, který byl realizován v rámci projektu Trendy v cestovním ruchu v MSK. Výsledkem projektu bude predikce a formulování vývojových trendů.

Tourism trends have a significant impact on customer requirements, and this stimulates the development of new forms of tourism. The article deals with the study of trends in tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim is to determine trends in the supply of catering and accommodation facilities and travel agencies on the basis of customer perception. It is based on a pilot survey that was carried out within the project Trends in Tourism in MSR. The outcome of the project will be the prediction and formulation of development trends.
