In the course of Somatopaedia the attention is paid to the concept of the somatopaedia field and its definition, namely with regard to the International Classification of Functional Abilities, Disability and Health and with the addition of current laws: Anti-Discrimination Act social services and the Employment Act. There is a definition of the category of physical disability and the classification of movement disorders, which include central and peripheral polio with a significant proportion of cerebral palsy, including epilepsy, followed by briefly characterized deformations, malformations and amputations. Specifically, the specifics in the education of children and pupils with physical disabilities are treated, starting with early intervention in children with developmental disorders. The aspects of psychosocial and pedagogical support of pupils with epilepsy are presented. It is characterized by education of children and pupils with physical disabilities in kindergarten, primary and secondary school, including the possibilities of their employment, with a number of concrete examples. Cerebral palsy is often combined with other disabilities, especially the mentally handicapped and epilepsy, impaired communication ability and sensory impairment, so that it is a group of children and pupils with severe and multiple disabilities. Various therapies, alternative methods and interventions are used to educate children of pupils, particularly those with cerebral palsy. The model of perception, ideas and thinking as the basis of therapies is explained, the concept of basal stimulation and an example of a support program for pupils with severe disabilities are given. Attention is also paid to the use of means of comprehensive rehabilitation.
