Anotace (popis výsledku): Česky + EN Kniha mapuje život a charakterizuje a analyzuje tvorbu významného libereckého fotografa Jana Pikouse, který v 60. a 70. letech 20. století patřil společně s Čestmírem Krátkým a Ladislavem Postupou k zásadním členům Studia výtvarné fotografie v Liberci. Publikace s kritickým odstupem začleňuje jeho dokumentární i výtvarně stylizované cykly do širokého uměleckého, politického a společenského kontextu dobu, v nichž vznikaly. Text je bohatě doplněn fotografiemi, z velké části dosud nepublikovanými.
In English
The book maps the life and characterizes and analyzes the work of the prominent Liberec photographer Jan Pikous, who in the 1960s and 1970s, together with Čestmír Krátký and Ladislav Postupa, was one of the fundamental members of the Studio of Art Photography in Liberec. The publication, with a critical distance, incorporates his documentary as well as artistically stylized cycles into the broad artistic, political and social context of the period in which they were created. The text is richly supplemented with photographs, largely unpublished until now.
