Abstract (in English)
The term "analgesia" means the temporary reduction or elimination of pain, in the case of obstetrics it refers to the reduction of pain during childbirth and in the postpartum period. The term "anesthesia" is the artificial induction of pain loss. In the case of anesthesia in obstetrics, this induction of pain loss must be divided into basic types: general anesthesia, where the patient is completely eliminated without perceiving painful and other external stimuli, and neuroaxillary anesthesia (supraarachnoid and epidural).
