According to the European Environment Agency, living space and construction sites are growing in 28 countries of the European Union every year about 100,000 hectares of land. To solve the regeneration of brownfields the involvement of all stakeholders is important and the use of possible uses of funds for their regeneration. An important aspect is also the individual tools in solving the regeneration of brownfields. It is evident, that not only in the Czech Republic, but in the entire European Union, the occurrence of abandoned buildings and areas is currently more than current.
