Abstract

V originále

The reading process does not develop until school age through systematic learning, but all cognitive functions that participate in the practice of reading develop from birth. Spontaneous development can develop and support the family environment. In general, it can be stated that under the term reading we imagine decoding a text composed of letters and comprehension. Mastering the reading technique is a skill without which further education cannot follow. The educational process offers a choice of methods by which students acquire this skill. We must deal separately with each mental operation that is necessary for reading: auditory differentiation of sounds expressed by letters; visual differentiation of signs; distinguishing the sequence of letters in space and sounds in time; understanding the alphabetical writing system - understanding the graphic character using sounds; quick possibility to evoke reality using the read.
