The publication is devoted to the results of the student grant competition project on the topic of Implementation Analysis rehabilitation of families with a child at risk of institutional care, protection of childhood or increasing trauma. Authors in the first part they present a brief historical view of the development of child protection and childhood. They also deal with the issue paradigm shifts in the work of social workers. This change is described in terms of legal change standards and their impact on the performance of social workers and the involvement of other social organizations in work to help families. The second, main part of the work is devoted to the study, which was carried out in two regions of the Czech Republic. The research was carried out with social workers of municipal authorities and social workers social organizations that provide services to vulnerable families. The results were further validated by a questionnaire investigation. The research results are summarized in the final chapters, including examples of good practice. The publication is intended primarily for experts in creating a methodology for working with vulnerable families.
