The paper dealt with the specifics of the Empire style as a representative of the imperial cultural policy of Napoleon Bonaparte in France. Attention was also focused on the discussion of Napoleon's intentions in the field of visual culture, various interpretations of historians, art historians and museum curators who participated in the realization of jubilee exhibitions to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Napoleon's death.
