This document is intended for student of the subject Computer Systems Architecture at the Institute of Computer Science of the Silesian University in Opava. The subject deals mainly with hardware the principle of operation of components, diagnostics, maintenance. Although these are lectures, due to the nature of the subject matter covered, practical instruction is also included.
