Zámecké brownfieldy představují specifické nemovitosti, kterým se doposud vědecké bádání vyhýbalo. V zemích, kde nebyla kontinuita vlastnictví a využívání zámeckých sídel narušena, nevznikl ze zámeckých brownfieldů takový fenomén a stavebně-krajinná zvláštnost, jako tomu bylo v České republice, potažmo také v zemích bývalého Východního bloku. Odkazujeme se zde na procesy související s přerušením vlastnicko-majetkových vztahů formou znárodnění či konfiskace v první polovině 20. století, které následně vystřídaly restituční a vlastnické spory aj., které stály za vznikem těchto specifických brownfieldů snad ještě více než obvyklé příčiny tržního charakteru spojené zejména s ekonomickou efektivitou. Cílem tohoto vědeckého článku je pilotně identifikovat původní příčiny vzniku zámeckých brownfieldů na území České republiky a kategorizovat je na pozadí syntézy teoretických poznatků a konkrétních příkladů zámeckých sídel ve třech okresech Moravskoslezského kraje.

Chateau (castle) brownfields are specific properties that scientific research has avoided so far. In countries where the continuity of ownership and use of chateau residences has not been disrupted, chateau brownfields have not developed such a phenomenon and architectural and landscape peculiarity, as was the case in the Czech Republic, and therefore also in the countries of the former Eastern Bloc. We refer here to the processes related to the interruption of property relations in the form of nationalization and expropriation in the first half of the 20th century, which subsequently alternated with restitution and ownership disputes etc., which were behind the creation of these specific brownfields, perhaps even more than the usual causes of a market nature connected mainly with economic efficiency. The aim of this article is to pilot identify the original causes of chateau brownfields in the Czech Republic and to categorize them against the background of a synthesis of theoretical knowledge and specific examples of chateau settlements in three regions of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
