Slovenský národní projekt „Digitální knihovna a digitální archiv“ je jedním z projektů Operačního programu Informatizace společnosti. Bude to zásadní pro budoucí rozvoj knihovnické a informační vědy a praxe. Prezentovány jsou cíle projektu, jeho evropské souvislosti a předpoklady jeho realizace (legislativní, technologické, organizační, ekonomické a „finanční“) Aktuální stav a předpokládané úspěchy, hlavní aktivity projektu, jeho závazky vůči světovým trendům a standardům, management projektu a také harmonogram jeho realizace.

The slovak national project „Digital library and digital archive“ is one of the projects of the Operational Programme Informatisation of Society. It will be essential for future development of library and information science and practice. ! e aims of the project, its European contexts and preconditions of its implementation (legislative, technological, organizational, economical and " nancial) are presented. Recent situation and supposed achievements, main activities of the project, its commitments to world trends and standards, management of the project as well as a schedule of its implementation are described.
