Abstract
V originále
This chapter examines the impact of the banking and insurance sectors on economic growth in Czechia, a country with distinctive financial dynamics. By using the Granger causality test, the study evaluates how sectoral development, efficiency, and stability of these institutions influence economic growth. The research addresses long-standing discrepancies in empirical findings and reveals that in Czechia, the advancement and operational efficiency of the banking and insurance sectors significantly contribute to economic prosperity. This study offers a comprehensive understanding of these sectors' crucial role in shaping the nation's economic landscape.
