V originále

Cyklus básní Christophera Okemwy Chřadnoucí růže (v originále A Withering Rose) připravil autor speciálně pro české vydání. Čtyři ukázky z tohoto cyklu se dříve objevily v časopise Kenya Studies Review (svazek 8, číslo 1). Překlad do češtiny byl pořízen z originálu, který poskytl tento mezinárodně uznávaný autor spolu s autorskými právy pro české vydání sbírky poezie.

Christopher Okemwa's cycle of poems A Withering Rose (originally A Withering Rose) was prepared by the author especially for the Czech edition. Four excerpts from this cycle previously appeared in the Kenya Studies Review (Volume 8, Issue 1). The translation into Czech was made from the original, which was provided by the internationally renowned author together with the copyright for the Czech edition of the poetry collection.
