The paper presents a comparison of the methods of evaluation of a logistics service provider from the point of view of the interpretation of the criteria adopted for evaluation. In the case of the baseline method, the assessment criteria are taken into account as subjective, relative. On the other hand, when using the modified method, the values of deterministic criteria were taken into account. As a result, two different configurations of the optimal solution were obtained.
