V rámci Slezských ústavů v Opoli a v Opavě se rozvíjely různé formy vědecké spolupráce od přelomu 40. a 50. let 20. století. Institucionalizovány byly počátkem 80. let. Pokračovaly i od 90. let se Slezským zemským muzeem s Slezskou univerzitou. Článek v řadě detailů popisuje tuto spolupráci.

Within the Silesian Institutes in Opole and Opava, various forms of scientific cooperation developed from the late 1940s and 1950s. They were institutionalised in the early 1980s. They have continued since the 1990s with the Silesian Museum and the Silesian University. The article describes this cooperation in a number of details.
