Anotace

V originále

The conference paper presents the discovery of two Middle Bronze Age features from the Opava–Vávrovice site, uncovered during a rescue excavation conducted by the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in 2019–2020. The analysis of ceramic material — including storage vessel fragments, clay weights, and daub — indicates affiliation with the Middle Danubian Tumulus Culture. A key find is a boat-shaped bowl with a spout and handle, representing the first evidence of this ceramic form in Czech Upper Silesia. The contribution provides new insights into the settlement structure of the region during the Middle Bronze Age, the continuity of settlement between the Věteřov group and the Lusatian culture, and possible cultural connections with the Middle Danube and Mediterranean regions.
