Abstract
In the original language
The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is a widely used multicriteria decision-making method. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) often face challenges in accessing user-friendly and cost-effective TOPSIS software tools. This study provides an overview of available free software solutions that support TOPSIS, with a focus on their usability and applicability for SMEs. The research was conducted by systematically searching online sources for free TOPSIS tools. The key findings indicate a limited number of user-friendly software options, which may hinder the adoption of TOPSIS in SME decision-making processes. As a result, this study presents a structured review of the available tools and highlights their advantages and limitations. The findings emphasize the need for more accessible and intuitive TOPSIS software solutions. Additionally, the study may serve as an impetus for the development of a new, freely available online TOPSIS tool tailored to the needs of SMEs.
