Příspěvek byl věnován problematice ženských šlechtických pohřbů na příkladu vévodkyň z rodu Lehnicko-Břežských Piastovců a Minsterbersko-Olešnických Poděbradů. Na základě dochovaných pramenů byla pozornost věnovaná ženám, které zemřely jako bezdětné vdovy nebo neprovdané. Byly prezentovány odlišnosti ve funerálních obřadech, které jednoznačně odrážely roli těchto žen a jejich pozici v rodině, vzájemné individuální vztahy a vazby, společenské postavení rodiny, celoživotní postavení dané ženy apod.

The paper was devoted to the issue of funeral ceremonies accompanying noble woman burials on the example of duchesses, members of the Piast and Podiebrad dynasties (the House of Liegnitz and Brieg, the House of Münsterberg and Oels). Based on preserved sources, attention was paid to women who died as childless widows or unmarried. Differences in funeral rituals were presented that clearly reflected the role of these women and their position in the family, mutual individual relationships and ties, the social status of the family, the lifelong status of the woman in question, etc.
