The exhibition ran from October 16 to November 18. On Thursday, October 16, 2025, a festive opening of the exhibition for the international project Breaking Fences took place at the UniPoint university center in the Breda & Weinstein shopping center. The project involved the University of Silesia, the Polytechnic University of Braganza in Portugal, and the University West, Sweden. The main researcher for the project at the University of Silesia, Mgr. Markéta Skalná, Ph.D., introduced the project itself to all those present, as well as its activities and outputs that had been achieved during the two years of its implementation. Visitors to the opening were able to learn more about the ideas behind the project and the students' artifacts through the posters on display, and they could also view or try out some of the artifacts for themselves. The opening also included a photo reportage of the project. The exhibition aimed to inspire creative and critical thinking about what we consider "normal" – and why.
