The paper explores whether LEADER and Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) can be used as frameworks for community social work in the Czech Republic. They are understood not only as project financing instruments, but as a set of principles: local participation, partnership, integrated planning, networking, innovation and cooperation. The paper argues that community social work should adapt these frameworks because its agenda requires work with territory, institutions, local relationships and time. The Czech case is interpreted from a time-sensitive perspective of the last five years, especially the effects of COVID-19 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
