Course objectives
The course continues Italian linguistic seminar 1. The attention is paid espcially to syntax in wider sense of the word, especially to the modality and the information structure of the sentence in Italian. The aim of the seminar is further promote the knowledge of the language and enlarge the vocabulary.

    The analysis concentrates on the following linguistic elements: aspect, the article and its function in the information structure of the sentence and word order as a factor of the information structure of the sentence, non-finite verb forms and their counterparts in Czech, speech acts.
