Stručná chrakteristika předmětu: Přednáška vychází z obecných pojmů jako komunikace, definice jazyka, věta, morfologie atd. Podává přehled o gramatických kategoriích ohebných slovních druhů, výklad o neohebných druzích a soustřeďuje se zejména na frekventované jazykové fenomény uvnitř těchto kategorií.
