- Tento předmět navazuje na Praktická cvičení 1. Cílem cvičení je všestranné prohlubování praktické znalosti jazyka a rozvíjení jazykových dovedností. Důraz je kladen zejména na komunikativní dovednosti zakotvené v konzistentním procvičování a upevňování gramatických stuktur a systematickém rozšiřování slovní zásoby.
Sylabus:
1. Unit 5: Verbs connected with speech. Reported speech.
2. Unit 5: Expressing probability and speculating.
3. Unit 5: Idioms connected with speech.
4. Unit 6: Travelling. Modal verbs - an overview.
5. Unit 6: Modal verbs - expressing advice, ability, prohibition and obligation.
6. Unit 6: Idioms with COME and GO.
7. Unit 7: Communication. The verb GET.
8. Unit 7: Passive voice. The passive vs. active voice; transformations.
9. Unit 7: Phrasal verbs.
10. Unit 8: Food, eating.
11. Unit 8: Speculating about the present and past.
12. Unit 8: Word pairs.
