Course objectives

Lectures during the summer semester focuses on the literature of the Hussite movement, humanism and Baroque.

Syllabus

Students will be instructed to interpret key texts of Czech literature in the social and cultural contexts as well as by means of the various literary-theoretical approaches. They will obtain the basic information on the history of the Czech Renaissance and Baroque literature.
