- Course objectives
- The genesis of public museums in Central Europe and the emphasis on museums in the Czech lands (in German and Czech language environment) in the 20th century, emphasis is placed on the State guarantee of museum work (National museum, provincial museums), the heyday of the Land museums (personality, periodicals, problems) and the Slovak museum activities (Bratislava, Martin, Košice), the specifics of development during the second World War II and after 1945.
