- Course objectives
- History as a science has been ever devoloped under the influence of political power. With rise of national movements had this relationship increased during the whole 19th Century to culminate in the 20th Century, when the historical sciences in the Central Europe had been submitted to demands of totalitarian regimes of Nationalsocialism and Communism. What were objects, aims, methods and organisations of this kind of political historiography? Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to familirize with the problem of relationship between historiography and politics in modern history, mainly in the Central Europe

- 1.-4. History as a science has been ever devoloped under the influence of political power. With rise of national movements had this relationship increased during the whole 19th Century to culminate in the 20th Century, when the historical sciences in the Central Europe had been submitted to demands of totalitarian regimes of Nationalsocialism and Communism.
6.-8. What were objects, aims, methods and organisations of this kind of "political" historiography? 9.-12. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to familirize with the problem of relationship between historiography and politics in modern history, mainly in the Central Europe; to analyze formation and history of the scientific institutions; to study relations between ideology and historiography.
