- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course deals with the usage of audio-visual aids in foreign language teaching. The aids will be classified with the description of their typology. The activities will cover basic rules in the operation and specific methodology of their usage in the classroom. Syllabus: 1. Using visual aids 2. Using the blackboard 3. Pictures in the language classroom 4. Pictures, communication and opportunities 5. Using the magnetboard 6. Using the magnetboard: techniques and procedures 7. Using the overhead projector 8. Making and using visuals 9. The Internet and the language classroom 10. Internet activities 11. TV news 12. TV adverts in classroom The course work takes form of a portfolio in which the students record their comments and fulfilled tasks. The students also present a set of particular activities suggested on the basis of using one of the selected audiovisual aids.
