Tento kurz se zabývá využitím audiovizuálních prostředků ve výuce cizích jazyků. Nejprve je třeba prostředky kategorizovat a dále bude pojednáváno o jednotlivých typech audiovizuálních prostředků a didaktické techniky. Budou projednána nejen základní pravidla a principy práce s nimi, ale i metodické postupy jejich využití v hodinách s konkrétními příklady. Sylabus: 1. Using visual aids 2. Using the blackboard 3. Pictures in the language classroom 4. Pictures, communication and opportunities 5. Using the magnetboard 6. Using the magnetboard: techniques and procedures 7. Using the overhead projector 8. Making and using visuals 9. The Internet and the language classroom 10. Internet activities 11. TV news 12. TV adverts in classroom Požadavky na studenta: Individuální práce bude zpracována formou portfolia, kde budou studenti zaznamenávat jednak své komentáře a dotazy a také zpracované úkoly.
