Course objectives
The aim is to discuss the main options of acquisition, recording, coding, transmission and reproduction of surround sound, as the equal component of the emerging 3D display (image).
Syllabus
  • - Introduction to electroacoustic, electroacoustical chain and its elements.
    - Understanding the ability to record audio, analog and digital recording technology.
    - Multi-channel recording systems and sound reproduction - history, present and perspective.
    - Recording of the spoken word and music indoors and outdoors, possibilities of signal mixing, coding, codec, transmission system.
