The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with guide activities, on the example of Vienna.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to prepare and implement a tour for tourists.
Syllabus
  • 1. Allocation of topics (3-4 topics in total). How to captivate the audience 2. Collection of information. How to search 3. Clear construction of the text: introduction, main informative part, conclusion 4. Presentation 1. Free presentation without PowerPoint 5. Constructive criticism: suggestions for improvement and suggestions 6. Presentation 2. Lecture with powerpoint presentation 7. How to speak freely and fun 8. Working with PowerPoint. Presentation options 9. Presentation 3. Lecture with improved PowerPoint presentation 10. How to create an engaging handout 11. Final presentation with PowerPoint and handout 12.
